2014 회중개발학교의 소수인종 참여자들을 위해 일정액의 소수인종장학금을 마련하게 됨을 알려드립니다. 한인목회강화협의회 사무총장인 장학순 목사는 오늘 이 장학금에 관한 소식을 전해 왔는데, 장학금을 받기 위해서는 등록비 $50불을 먼저 내야 합니다. 지원 마감일은 2014년 6월 30일입니다.
회중개발학교는 2014년 8월 14일(목)부터 17일(주일)까지 노스캐롤라이나주 샬롯의 Matthews UMC에서 열리게 됩니다.
장학금 내용
일반 소수인종 장학금(샬롯 도심지역 밖에 거주해야 함). 등록비($375불) 중 $325불 지원과 회중개발학교에서 승인한 호텔의 하루 숙박비 지원.
지역거주 소수인종장학금(샬롯 도심지역에 거주하는 사람). 등록비($375불) 중 $325불 지원.
소수인종 목회학석사 신학생 장학금(샬롯 도심지역 밖에 거주하는 사람). 등록비($375불) 중 $325불 지원과 회중개발학교에서 승인한 호텔의 이틀 숙박비 지원, 그리고 $400불의 여행경비 환급.
장학금이 승인된 사람은 장학금 수혜자 등록지침과 함께 수혜통지를 4월 1일부터 6월 30일 사이에 받게 됩니다. 장학금을 받으려면 등록을 해야 하고, 6월 30일까지 $50불을 내야 하며, 7월 13일까지 회중개발학교에서 승인한 호텔 중 한 곳에 방 예약을 해야 합니다.
장학금을 받는 사람들은 이번 이벤트의 모든 활동에 적극적으로 참여해야 합니다.

ETHNIC SCHOLARSHIPS - School of Congregations Development 2014
Dear Friends,
We are pleased to let you know that again for the 2014 School of Congregational Development there will be a limited number of racial ethnic scholarships available for participants from racial/ethnic groups. Rev. Paul H. Chang has received the announcement from GBGM and is pleased to share this opportunity with Korean UMC today. It is our intent to get this word out in a timely fashion. A $50 registration fee is required to receive a scholarship. Application deadline June 30, 2014
The School of Congregational Development will be on Thursday, August 14, 2014 - Sunday, August 17, 2014, at the Matthews United Methodist Church, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Scholarships
Regular Racial Ethnic Scholarships (must live outside the Charlotte metropolitan area). Covers $325 of the ($375) registration fee, one night's lodging at an authorized SCD hotel.
Local Resident Racial Ethnic Scholarships (for persons living within the Charlotte metropolitan area. Covers $325 of the ($375) registration fee.
M/Div. Seminarian Ethnic Scholarships (for persons living outside of the metropolitan Charlotte area). Covers $325 of the ($375) registration fee, two nights lodging at an authorized SCD hotel, $400 travel reimbursement.
If you are approved for a scholarship, you will receive a notification beginning April 1 through June 30th, along with instructions to register as a scholarship recipient. To claim the scholarship you must register; pay $50 by June 30th and reserve a hotel room by July 13, 2014, at one of the authorized SCD hotels.
It is expected that those who receive scholarships will actively participate in all components of this event.
