Leaders call for release of 2 missionaries
MANILA, Philippines (UMNS) — United Methodist leaders held a press conference July 2 to appeal for the release of two missionaries being detained by the Philippineís government. Adam Shaw, a third missionary, was expelled and will return to Ohio next week. Jan Snider has the story.
Church members respond to Annapolis shooting
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Even as the community reeled at news of a mass shooting, staff at the Capital Gazette continued their work, putting out a paper the next day.
