Media ministry eases transition for new pastor

TOLEDO, Ohio — Since taking the helm at Epworth United Methodist Church, the Rev. Stephen Swisher has been introducing himself largely via screens, a necessary workaround during the coronavirus pandemic. That’s a no-brainer for Swisher, who worked with the Rev. Robert Schuller at California's Crystal Cathedral in the 1990s and has years of experience in multiplatform media ministry. Nicki Gorny has the story.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare has launched a 24/7 helpline for adult and pediatric spiritual care.
