World Malaria Day is April 25 and United Methodists all over the world are encouraged to tweet, post, click "share," and change their Facebook profile and cover photos in an effort to #CoverTheNet with messages that draw attention to this killer disease.
Join the Twibbon campaign to spread the word and let people know you support the cause. Twibbon is a microsite where supporters can support a cause in a variety of ways:
• Adding a Twibbon onto your Facebook and Twitter profile pictures
• Publishing a message of support on your Twitter and Facebook account, and
• Adding Covers to your Facebook Timeline
You can also help shout out a powerful message on Twitter and Facebook via Thunderclap. Thunderclap is a "crowd speaking" platform that creates a big splash by blasting out a timed Facebook post and tweet from Imagine No Malaria supporters on April 25 -- all at the same time. When we speak together, our voices can be heard. Join now.
Cover the 'Net with prayers for those at risk of death from malaria by posting your prayer on our Facebook wall on or leading up to April 25, or join the conversation online using the hashtag #CoverTheNet (https://twitter.com/hashtag/coverthenet).
