Highland Park votes to leave United Methodist Church

After two days of voting, members of the Dallas congregation overwhelmingly approved a resolution severing ties with The United Methodist Church. More than 90% voted in favor of the move, according to the church.

Top court delays ruling related to California church closure

The United Methodist Judicial Council will continue deliberations on Nov. 16 concerning a decision of law by Bishop Dottie Escobedo-Frank regarding the closure of La Trinidad United Methodist Church in California.
