Healing Guatemala hopes to save girl's life

Healing Guatemala, a medical mission in Guatemala that is connected with the South Carolina Conference, is taking a huge leap of faith in the hopes of saving a young girl’s life. The ministry is arranging to get a bone marrow transplant for Dulce, a 10-year-old with a rare genetic disorder. But Healing Guatemala needs financial help for the procedure.

Men's group set to build 1,000th ramp

During the past 27 years, Reidland United Methodist Men and multi-denominational partners have built more than eight miles of handicap ramp. This month, the men’s ministry is on schedule to build its 1,000th ramp. The Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference has the story.

Supplies going to Haiti, Ukraine

Nearly 11,000 pounds of supplies were collected by 23 United Methodist churches with supplies going to UMCOR which will distribute them in Haiti, Ukraine and to parts of the U.S. to assist with Hurricane Ian relief.
