Then and now: Marching on Washington

WASHINGTON (UMNS) - Edith Lee-Payne, photographed on her 12th birthday at the famed march on Aug. 28, 1963, will return to Washington for the 50th anniversary festivities. The member of Hope United Methodist Church in Southfield, Mich., said she is bringing her granddaughters so they know "their presence can make a difference."
