Church promotes peace, unity in DRC

NYUNZU, Democratic Republic of Congo (UMNS) — The United Methodist Church in the Democratic Republic of Congo continues to work toward reconciliation and healing between indigenous pygmies and Bantus in the Tanganyika province. The efforts include vocational training, led by United Methodist Women, to empower both groups. The Rev. Betty Kazadi Musau has the story.

New York Conference
Church site to provide low-income housing, ministry

THE BRONX, N.Y. — The site of the former Trinity Morrisania United Methodist Church will be repurposed for a low-income housing complex for seniors and a ministry space at ground level. The United Methodist City Society, the mission partner of the New York Conference, has signed an agreement with the Bronx Pro Group for the project.
