Last night as a part of the “Critical Decisions” session of GC2012, the Rev. Adam Hamilton, pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection and a member of the Interim Operations Team, led a report to the General Conference on the state of the church and their proposals for church restructuring. During that presentation, Twitter was alight with questions and concerns, many voiced by young clergy and laity. In response to that commentary, Rev. Hamilton called for a meeting of young clergy to address their concerns:
