After the January 2010 earthquake in Haiti, United Methodists across the connection responded with money and volunteers.

In late February 2013, a team from United Methodist Communications went to Haiti to look at ways in which life has improved.

United Methodists killed in Congo flooding

Over 175 people, including 15 United Methodists, died after torrential rains overflowed the Chibira River in South Kivu. One church family lost 13 members.

Malawi church continues response to Cyclone Freddy

United Methodists are partnering with the government and others to meet immediate needs and plan for long-term recovery, include providing seeds and planting, promoting small businesses and constructing new homes and churches.

Churches hard hit by latest storms

Twister-spawning storms moved across the U.S., causing death and widespread destruction, including to three United Methodist churches in the Arkansas Conference.
