Ruiz named 2016 Denman Fellow
LAKE JUNALUSKA, N.C. (UMNS) — Alma T. Ruiz, who began study in the Doctor of Theology program at United Methodist Duke Divinity School in July, is the Foundation for Evangelism’s 2016 Denman Fellow. Ruiz is associate pastor of Fiesta Cristiana in Apex, North Carolina, where she ministers to multicultural, multiethnic and multilingual populations. She also works with Duke’s training program in El Salvador.
