UMW opposes delay on gas, oil regulations

WASHINGTON — Three United Methodist Women representatives spoke out against a possible postponement of regulations affecting natural gas and oil production. The women testified at a public hearing at the Environmental Protection Agency and said that delay would “harm the health of children, increase global warming and waste resources.” Erik Alsgaard has the story.
